ev client (unsupported)
ev client is a browser add-on and tool designed for the Chrome platform. However, it is important to note that this program is no longer supported. The developer, Gama, has shifted their focus to maintaining Opticlient instead.
Despite its unsupported status, ev client offers a range of features that were designed to enhance the user experience. These features include an ad blocker, disabled CapsLock, optimized memory management, faster clan deployment, and a fix for the resetting settings bug. Additionally, the game will no longer ask for permission to close, and debug messages in the console have been silenced. Sticky Keys are disabled during gameplay, and unnecessary tips and menu clutter have been removed.
The program also offers optimized movement code, a misc comments section in the main menu, and the removal of unnecessary HUD keybind displays. Furthermore, the issue of the screen flashing white before a page loads on ev.io has been addressed. Users can now play on any map with any game mode, and there is even a submenu that allows for muting audio, keybinding messages, toggling crouch, and accessing game repair tools and backup savedata.
While ev client is no longer supported, it may still be used by those who find its features useful. However, it is recommended to switch to the developer's newer program, Opticlient, for ongoing support and updates.
